Office/Home:
Whenever possible, use one calendar for scheduling so you are sure not to forget which calendar you marked your event
down on.
General:
If you are keeping/storing an item because you were asked to, let the person know you are cleaning and want to know
what they want done with the item. Often, the person doesn't really want the item anymore, but didn't want to deal with parting with
the item yet. Unfortunately, they put the burden upon you instead.
Closets:
Don't let old Comforters take over your closet. Find a nice tote to store them in. It keeps them folded and under control.
Family:
Make
a specific "communication" area in your home for family members. Maybe a bulletin board, or Dry erase board in a central location.
That way you know where to look for any family communication if a member is gone and you forgot where they were.
Kids:
If you
have a child that keeps coming home with drawings and ALL of them are special, make a special drawer for them. After displaying them
(of course), put them in the drawer. At the end of the year, go through the drawer with your child and have them pick out the1-2 that
they like the best. You'll find that most of the artwork won't mean as much months later as it did the day they came home with it,
but they will usually have a couple of memorable pieces.
